Detailed Design of Safaga – Marsa Allam Road- Section 1 – Length of 30 km

• The main roads were rehabilitated while new service roads were
constructed to accommodate the present and future demands,
• Geological studies,
• Geotechnical investigations,
• Hydrology design/flood protection,
• Detailed geometric design of the road. The road lies in the
mountainous region along the Red Sea and is in a flood prone region,
• Pavement rehabilitation of existing main coastal road,
• Structural design of the roads,
• Design of two hollow-slab bridges at the intersection of the project
with existing railway lines.
